AI-Guided Legal Case Reporting
Together with Dextra, we developed an intelligent legal case report that guides customers intuitively through the reporting process. It understands the facts they describe, requests the relevant information and documents, and checks them for completeness and relevance as soon as they are uploaded.

“Voviva did not simply implement our requirements. They understood what we needed, thought along actively and developed it further with ideas of their own. The combination of strong delivery skills, initiative and a genuine spirit of innovation makes Voviva a strong and reliable innovation partner for us.”

Easy to report
The intelligent case report asks targeted follow-up questions until the facts are clear and requests exactly the information and documents needed for further processing.
Complete from the start
Relevant information and documents are collected and checked during the report itself, so everything needed for further processing is there from the start.
People decide
The solution gives no legal assessment and no information on insurance coverage. The legal assessment and the coverage decision remain with the lawyers.
The challenge
People reporting a legal case often do not know which details and documents are needed. As a result, first reports often lack information and documents that matter for the decision, which leads to follow-up questions and delays processing.
The goal was to make the legal case report smart enough to guide customers through the process and to create the most complete and well-founded basis possible for further processing from the start, without handing over the legal assessment.
Our solution
The digital case report guides customers through the entire reporting process in an intelligent dialogue. They describe their case in their own words, by text or voice, and the bot asks targeted follow-up questions until the facts and their request are clear. It then assigns the case to the right area of law and shows which documents are required or helpful for further processing.
Relevant documents can be uploaded directly in the chat, conveniently from a smartphone too. The bot recognises and analyses the documents, takes over the relevant information and asks specifically for what is still missing. Finally, customers receive a structured summary that they can review, add to and then submit.
The solution is available in all of Switzerland's national languages and English and is connected to Dextra's master data.
“One example is our first notice of loss (FNOL) claims bot, which we developed together with the ETH start-up Voviva.”
